I want to have my Free Will and eat it too. (What is Hell? cont.)

Could God make a rock so heavy He, Himself could not lift it? I am such a nerd that I wrote an embarrassingly long blog and now I am doing a spin-off blog on the same night. This is something that rubs me the wrong way about the Heaven/Hell issue (as if any rubbing could be wrong.) So, Hell is the absence of God. God is omnipotent, omniscient, omni-etc. Is God incapable of being in Hell? If so, does that mean that there is something God cannot do, therefore not omnipotent? Or can God go to Hell, in which case would it still count as Hell? Because if God can exist in Hell, then wouldn’t that mean there can be hope in Hell? Here is an even more worrisome question: Does God send people to Hell? If He is omniscient, then He knows all the outcomes of every choice we will ever make.(Reminder: Judeo-Christian stipulation of Free Will applies. Determinism and its compatibility with Free Will, although very connected to this topic, is yet another blog.) Also, if God is omnipotent couldn’t He just stage situations in which we always choose the good? That way we may have our Free Will and eat it too. Also, why would God have given us such Free Will, without the ability to fully understand all of its consequences? He knows the consequences. Why doesn’t He let us in on it too so we can end up in Heaven with Him? Isn’t that what He wants? It seems like some profound setup. I do believe in Free Will, although my belief is complicated and admittedly underdeveloped. (Thus the seeds of a future blog are planted.)
